Booker T. Newton

A retired First Sergeant with 29 years of exemplary service in the U.S. Army, Booker T. Newton is a veteran whose leadership bridged the gap between tactical execution and strategic operations. His career is distinguished by hard-fought honors, including Soldier of the Year, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and induction into the Stetson Society.

He is a recipient of the Glenn E. Morrell Award for Recruiting Excellence, the highest honor presented by the U.S. Army Recruiting Command. Most significantly, he is a member of the Order of Saint Barbara, a prestigious recognition of integrity and professional mastery within the Field Artillery.

Throughout nearly three decades of service, Booker rose through the ranks in high-stakes leadership roles, including:

Tactical Command: MLRS Crewmember and Tank Commander.

Recruiting Excellence: Recruiter, Recruiting Station Commander, and Recruiting Company Commander.

Leadership and Senior Operations: Company First Sergeant, Operations Sergeant Major, and Battalion Operations Officer.

Today, Booker continues his service as a Facilitator, working closely with soldiers through the critical shift from military service to civilian life and employment, ensuring our heroes have the tools they need to succeed at home.

Booker is running for the Oklahoma State Senate to bring strategic, common-sense leadership to the Capitol. His platform is built on results, not political games:
